The general premise of the video is that technology and social media are taking over peoples lives. Its as if recording and taking pictures are more important than experiencing.
Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message?
The video is conveying the intended message very well. The music goes well with the theme and message of the video.
Do you feel this is more of a cautionary story or more of an examination of our current social situation?
I want to say that it is more of an examination of our current social situation. Of course the video shows an exaggerated version of the reality, but it does present our current situation well. Many of the examples shown in the video, I have seen in real life. This is happening now and that is why I believe the video is an examination of our current social situation.
